Gift of Care

Every day, families in our community find themselves faced with the unimaginable: A tragic burn or catastrophic injury that puts their child’s life at risk; or a rare birth disorder or progressive condition that limits their freedom of movement and independence. In these circumstances, families find themselves searching for every possible answer and any source of hope.

For almost 100 years, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California has been providing more than just answers and hope. The hospital has been providing the true Gift of Care thanks to generous donors whose only motivation is ensuring that children receive the treatment they need

This holiday season we ask you to extend the Gift of Care to a child in your community. Your contribution to the Northern California Shriners Hospital will be used to provide specialty pediatric care to children regardless of a family’s ability to pay. As a donor, you become a source of answers and hope for families facing the unimaginable. We invite you to enjoy the patient stories below, brought to life through expressive dance thanks to Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre – another local nonprofit committed to championing important causes and raising awareness in our community.
