Blake's Story

So this is Blake. He is the funniest, smartest, sweetest, most loving, thoughtful boy ever. At 18 months, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia, and he's never let that hold him back from anything he's wanted to accomplish. We were told that there was a possibility that he might not ever walk, which is hard to hear. I actually remember that first day like it was yesterday, just coming in at Shriners Children's and him being so little. I feel like that was the first time that I thought this is really going to change his life.

Blake's had so many first steps. His first steps in his walker, his first steps with his braces. It's seeing him do things that we were told he might not ever do. But it's just unbelievable to see the growth.
