Arlo, Shriners Children’s Patient:

My name is Arlo. This is my sixth leg. I just got this today, actually. And this is my fifth leg. Fourth leg, third, second. This is my first ever leg. I learned how to walk in this leg.

Emily. Arlo’s Mom:

It was the day he was born, the moment he was born, actually. They did x-rays and they told us he was missing his fibular bone.

Tyler, Arlo’s Dad:

Eventually we made it here to Shriners and that's when everything changed. That was like the light.

Beth English, Recreational Therapist:

We've watched him grow up, from his amputation to walking his steps. He's not walking in the door, he's running in the door.

What they've done for Arlo is it's a debt I can't repay. It's something that I couldn't give my son. The Shriners was able to help us.

Emily:

Thank you for giving us hope without that support. I can't imagine where we would be. The leggies I would say represent hope.

Tyler:

I can see how scared I was with the first leg he had to how certain I am with the ones he has now.

Arlo:

I'm super proud of my legs.
