I saw a spark, and I heard a scream and then there was a massive explosion. I'll never get the vision out of my head. He had injuries all over, large and small and second-degree burns, and I knew it wasn't good.
My name is Ben, and I came to Shriners Children's when I was two years old. I was in a firework accident and put in a medically induced coma.
