Shriners Children’s and Build-A-Bear Foundation have partnered to bring a one of a kind experience to the patients at Shriners Children’s locations in North America.

Build-A-Bear Foundation Buddy Rooms will be available at Shriners Children’s locations for patients and families to pick out a complimentary furry friend and accessories. In an effort to make a positive impact on patient visits, Build-A-Bear Foundation is donating furry friends to Shriners Children’s and an annual monetary donation to the Most Amazing Care Anywhere. You can also donate furry friends, clothes and accessories towards the Build-A-Bear Foundation Buddy Room of your choice. Just follow the instructions below.

Welcome to the Build Bear Foundation buddy room, where our patients meet the special furry friend who'll provide comfort and security through their treatment journey. Through this special partnership with Build-A-Bear, Shriners Children's mission to provide comprehensive care by treating not only the child's medical, but also emotional needs, comes full circle. In this magical space, the patient selects their new stuffed animal friend and picks out an outfit that best expresses their individuality, transforming the bear into exactly who the child wishes their friend to be. A trip to the Build-A-Bear Foundation Buddy Room is an emotional anchor in the Shriners Children's patient experience, and an extraordinary part of the most amazing care anywhere.

How to donate Fezzy and/or any Build-A-Bear furry friend to Build-A-Bear Foundation Buddy Room(s):

1) Online

Visit BuildABear.com to purchase items of your choice and ship directly to the Shriners Children’s location(s) of your choice

2) Visit Build-A-Bear Location

Visit your local Build-A-Bear Location to build a bear or purchase accessories to donate to your selected Shriners Children’s Location (Please be advised that guests/donors are responsible for shipping and/or delivering items to the hospital)

3) Build-A-Bear Party

Set up a Build-A-Bear Party at your local Build-A-Bear location to build bears to be donated to your selected Shriners Children’s Location (Please be advised that guests/donors are responsible for shipping and/or delivering items to the hospital)
