Lloyd Halpern, M.D., is a board-certified anesthesiologist who graduated from Ohio State University’s College of Medicine. He completed his anesthesia residency at the University of Utah Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Dr. Halpern has been practicing for more than 20 years and has authored or co-authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has researched several areas of pediatric anesthesia, including gastroesophageal reflux and postoperative nausea and vomiting. He was previously appointed as a clinical assistant professor at Elson S. Floyd’s College of Medicine at Washington State University.
His daughter had surgery at Shriners Children’s when she was 5 years old. He has always been grateful for the amazing care she received. He is thankful now that he has a chance to give back and provide the same care she received to other children like her.
