Visiting Tijuana Ambulatory Clinic
Shriners Children's Tijuana Ambulatory Clinic is an extension of Shriners Children's Southern California, conveniently located for families in Baja California, Mexico. The clinic provides comprehensive medical and surgical care to children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, burn scars, and cleft lip and palate. Patients receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
Our physicians are fellowship-trained in pediatric orthopedics and plastic reconstructive surgery, which means children who come to the Tijuana Ambulatory Clinic see doctors with a high level of specialty training in areas that include cleft lip, cleft palate, clubfoot and cerebral palsy, microtia, as well as many other conditions affecting children.
While our clinic operates on an outpatient basis to serve more patients, Shriners Children's patients having surgeries that require overnight hospital stays will be treated at Hospital Angeles, located just floors away from our clinic. Our Shriners Children's Tijuana Ambulatory Clinic physicians perform these procedures and provide all pre-surgical and follow-up care. Hospital Angeles is Mexico’s most recognized and trusted medical institution for over 40 years.
When you bring your child to the Shriners Children's Tijuana Ambulatory Clinic for treatment, you get:
- World-class treatment without the burden or expense of travel
- Family-centered, personalized healthcare in your own neighborhood
- Continuous Shriners Children's care
We see both new patients and current Shriners Children's patients at the Tijuana Ambulatory Clinic. When necessary, we refer patients to other Shriners Children's facilities for treatment.
