Shubhra Mukherjee, M.D., has always enjoyed working with children. Their innate interest in exploring and being their best inspires her. Her interests in neurology, orthopedics and engineering led her to the field of rehabilitation medicine during her medical training in Canada. Her interest in children and how they traverse childhood and adolescence led her to pursue a fellowship in pediatric rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. She led that fellowship program as program director for nine years. She continues to enjoy teaching residents.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking and sailing with her family, as well as traveling.
