Patient visits
For Shriners Children's Mexico, the safety of our patients, their families and our staff is our priority.
We have worked to create guidelines that adapt to the new normal. To protect the health of our patients, their families and our staff we have adopted these safety measures:
- Access to both Shriners Children's Mexico and Shriners Clinics is limited to only one guardian per patient.
- Outpatient visits and surgery visits are also limited to one guardian.
- The use of face masks will be optional for both direct patient care staff as well as patients and family members.
- Even though COVID-19 cases have decreased significantly in our country, it is still recommended to maintain hygiene measures with frequent hand washing and use of sanitizing gel.
General visits
To maintain an appropriate family atmosphere we ask all visitors to respect the following guidelines:
- Face masks are optional.
- Visitors must be over 18 years of age and must be a parent, guardian or adult to accompany the patient to their appointment.
- Visitors must carry an ID card at all times while in the hospital.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
