Gerard K. Williams Jr., M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Shriners Children’s Shreveport. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and underwent residency training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed his fellowship training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Williams joined the medical staff at Shriners Children’s Shreveport in 2025, where he specializes in the treatment of neuromuscular conditions and developmental conditions affecting the spine, hips and feet. He also holds a gratis faculty position at LSU Health in Shreveport.
Dr. Williams is a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, the International Pediatric Orthopedic Society and the Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society.
