Vishwas Talwalkar, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic specialist at Shriners Children's Lexington, where he has worked since 1999. He is also an associate professor of pediatric orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Talwalkar earned his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Areas of special interest to Dr. Talwalkar include all aspects of pediatric orthopedics, complex spinal deformity, clubfoot, injury prevention, limb deficiency, Perthes disease and scoliosis.
