Emma Ogunda is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from San Jacinto College Pasadena, Texas in 2004 and thereafter a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2011. She enjoyed 13 fulfilling years at the bedside in various specialties, including neuroscience intensive care, medical intensive care, trauma intensive care, cardiovascular intensive care and interventional radiology. She later obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2017, and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner.
