Michael P. McClincy, M.D., completed his medical school and residency training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, followed by separate fellowships in pediatric sports medicine and pediatric and adolescent hip preservation, both completed at Boston Children's Hospital. Prior to medical school, Dr. McClincy graduated from Dartmouth College in 2006 with a degree in mathematics. While at Dartmouth, he also was a member of the football team, playing as a defensive lineman from 2002-2006. While in residency at the University of Pittsburgh, he served as editor of the 2015 edition of The Pittsburgh Orthopaedic Journal. Dr. McClincy's orthopedic specialties include sports medicine and hip preservation.
