Mary Aschenbrener is a physician assistant at Shriners Children's Twin Cities. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants. Mary completed her undergraduate degree and graduate studies for physician assistant at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she graduated with honors, magna cum laude.

For the first 18 years of Mary’s career, she worked as a certified medical assistant. She decided to advance her career in medicine and the physician assistant profession was exactly what she was looking for. Mary has been a physician assistant since 1998, primarily focusing on orthopedics. She joined the Shriners Children's team in 2012.

Mary enjoys working with children with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. She values the team approach for caring for patients at Shriners Children's.
