Holly J. LaFuria, MS, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist at Shriners Children's Erie. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Previously, she worked at Shriners Children’s for five years before relocating to South Carolina. Prior to her return, she worked in outpatient pediatric clinics, home healthcare and early intervention (birth to 3 years old) in the Erie County area.
Holly has experience working with various orthopedic conditions, developmental delays, oral motor and sensory feeding concerns, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. Additional training includes upper extremity and shoulder injury, Kinesio Taping Method, complex feeding interventions, equipment needs and autism spectrum disorder. She is excited to re-join the rehabilitation team and collaborate among disciplines to best support family and child needs in a welcoming and fun manner.
