Maysa Kaskas, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist at Shriners Children’s Boston, specializing in the emotional and behavioral support of patients treated at the hospital’s Cleft and Craniofacial Center. Dr. Kaskas collaborates with other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve adjustment, coping and quality of life for patients and their families. She is passionate about improving psychosocial outcomes for children and adolescents.

In addition to her work at Shriners Children’s Boston, Dr. Kaskas sees patients at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Program in the Child/Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, the Pediatric Sleep Disorders Program, and the multidisciplinary Toileting Clinic with Pediatric Gastroenterology.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dr. Kaskas went on to receive both her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University. She completed her predoctoral internship in pediatric psychology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and her postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She is an instructor of psychology at Harvard Medical School and provides supervision and didactic support to child/adolescent psychology and psychiatry trainees.
