Growing up, Jonathan Koenig, M.D.'s best friend underwent multiple limb lengthening and hip reconstructive surgeries all before the age of 10. From an even earlier age, Dr. Koenig knew he wanted to help children like his friend when he grew up. Dr. Koenig matriculated to medical school not just to become a doctor - but to become a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.

Now working at Shriners Children's Southern California, he gets to live his dream. Dr. Koenig absolutely loves helping young individuals reach their fullest physical potential in visible and tangible ways through both surgical and non-operative means.
