Henry Iwinski, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic specialist at Shriners Children's Lexington.

Dr. Iwinksi completed his undergraduate degree at Niagara University and earned his medical degree from Brown University's Alpert Medical School. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Georgia and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics and spine surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas and at Charlotte Orthopaedic Specialists.

He has worked at Shriners Children's Lexington since 1998, and has been chief of staff for more than a decade. He is also a professor of orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at the University of Kentucky and serves on the Kentucky Commission for Children with Special Healthcare Needs.

Dr. Iwinski loves working at Shriners Children's Lexington because, "Shriners Children's gives doctors the opportunity to practice medicine in its purest form, to take care of children in need without worrying about their ability to pay."

Outside of the hospital, he enjoys cooking, cycling and golfing.
