Michael Flaherty, D.O., is a pediatric critical care physician in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Mass General for Children and the inpatient unit at Shriners Children's Boston. He has a passion for helping lead families through some of the most difficult journeys and working with Shriners Children's Boston's large teams to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Flaherty has a research and advocacy interest in pediatric injury and trauma. He is the director of the Injury Free Coalition for Kids Boston at Mass General and is particularly interested in the effects of health policies and legislation on preventing pediatric injury.
