Damian Duhon, PT, DPT, is the manager of therapy services at Shriners Children’s Shreveport. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana, and his master’s degree in microbiology and immunology from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from LSU Health Sciences Center.
Damian began his career as a physical therapist in 2010, working as an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist. In 2018, he joined Shriners Children’s as a physical therapist in the motion analysis center, and in 2022 he was named manager of the therapy services department. Also in 2022, Damian was chosen as one of Shriners Children’s 100 brand ambassadors as part of the organization’s 100th anniversary in recognition of his dedication to promoting the mission of Shriners Children’s.
Damian’s clinical focus includes sports medicine, shoulder rehabilitation, vestibular therapy and motion analysis. He is passionate about using his expertise to provide comprehensive and individualized care for his patients. Damian is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and serves as adjunct faculty in the School of Health Professions & Sciences at LSU Health Shreveport.
