The life journey of Belinda Dixon, APRN, has been a blend of dedication to nursing, pursuit of higher education and the joy of family. Her story began in Jamaica, where she earned her nursing degree from Excelsior Community College, setting the stage for a lifelong passion in healthcare.
Driven by a desire for excellence, she continued her education at The University of West Indies, graduating with first-class honors in nursing. In 2009, she immigrated to the United States, embracing new opportunities and challenges. Here, she obtained a master's in public health from Liberty University, followed by a master's in pediatric primary care nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington, along with a post-master's certificate in pediatric acute care nursing.
Belinda's journey eventually led her to Shriners Children's Texas, where she works as a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner, continuing to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
