Chantal Janelle, M.D., FRCS(c), is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with Shriners Children's Canada. She did a subspecialty on upper extremity. Dr. Janelle received her medical degree from University of Montreal. She also completed two fellowships, one in orthopedic surgery at University of Montreal, in pediatric upper limb surgery and adult hand surgery at Loyola University Chicago, and the other in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the University of Montreal, Saint-Justine Hospital.
Since 1995, Dr. Janelle has provided a high degree of expertise and positive outcomes for the patients receiving her care. She obtained the Surgery Award for Excellence in teaching in transition to clinical practice from the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in 2015. She is also an assistant professor (clinical) in the department of pediatric surgery and the department of surgery, faculty of medicine at both McGill University Health Center and University of Montreal. She is involved in teaching to the students and residents. Dr. Janelle's practice consists of upper extremity conditions, foot deformities and sports medicine.
