Avery Callaway, PA, completed her physician assistant fellowship at Shriners Children’s and immediately joined the staff of clinicians in Greenville providing world-class care.

Callaway is passionate about the system’s charitable mission, and has a special interest in cerebral palsy. She attended the College of Charleston before receiving her master's in physician assistant studies at Wingate University. Callaway has served as a research assistant under Shriners Children’s surgeons Ashley Startzman, D.O., and Lauren Hyer, M.D., and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time she enjoys painting, traveling and hiking with her three large-breed dogs.
