Ben Sumner, PAC, grew up in Park City, Utah. He attended college at Colorado State University, then physician assistant (PA) school at Midwestern University. Sumner’s medical career started when he worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) for two years at the University of Utah’s Emergency Room. His career as a PA includes an additional two years working in an emergency room in California, and for the past six years, he’s worked in orthopedics and sports medicine at Granger Medical Clinic in Sandy, Utah.

Sumner’s vast knowledge of emergency medicine and orthopedics has made him a great addition to the Salt Lake clinic team.

“The team here is amazing,” Sumner said. “And the kids are awesome.”

In his free time, you can usually find Sumner outside. As someone who was raised near the mountains, Sumner’s love for skiing started at an early age and continues today as one of he and his wife’s favorite activities.
