Meet Cody J. Sanderson, M.D.

Hi, my name is Dr. Cody James Sanderson. I'm a pediatric orthopedic surgeon here at Shriners Children's Texas. Here at the Shrine, it's a very special place. It's one of the few places where we can take care of children regardless of their family's ability to pay. And it's a one-stop shop where we can take care of full orthopedic needs of a child. We've got in house clinics with in house x-rays. We have our own rehab department. We have our own brace shop where we can make prosthetics and braces. And we also have a motion analysis lab where we can watch children walk to really figure out why they're walking the way they are and treat the root cause. I look at children and treating children not as just treating their diagnosis or treating their problem, but taking care of the whole family as a unit and making a plan together on how to best take care of your child.
