Tournament Field Announced for 2026 Shriners Children's College Showdown at Globe Life Field

REV Entertainment today announced that Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt will participate in the 2026 Shriners Children’s College Showdown, set to take place February 13-15, 2026, at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
“The Shriners Children’s College Showdown continues to be one of the nation’s premier college baseball events,” said Jared Schrom, senior vice president of REV Entertainment. “We’re proud to welcome these elite programs back to Globe Life Field to open the 2026 season, and honored to support the impactful work of Shriners Children’s.”
Matchups and game times will be announced at a later date. All six teams have previously competed at Globe Life Field. Arkansas (#8) and Vanderbilt (#9) are featured in D1 Baseball’s latest top 25 rankings.
“The Shriners Children’s College Showdown continues to set the standard for early-season college baseball, and we couldn’t be more excited for 2026,” said Dustin Johnson, national director of sports for Shriners Children’s. “This tournament unites top-tier teams and fan bases in support of our mission to provide hope and healing to children around the world, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.”
Arkansas (9-3 all-time at Globe Life Field) returns for the fourth consecutive year and fifth time overall. Oklahoma (16-10) is back for the first time since 2024, when the Sooners reached the Championship Game of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship. Oklahoma State (18-14), which has played more games at Globe Life Field than any other program, returns for its second straight Shriners Children’s College Showdown.
TCU (18-9) has played at Globe Life Field every season since it began hosting college games in 2021. Texas Tech (9-13) returns after also competing in the 2024 edition of this event. Vanderbilt (2-1) makes its second appearance at Globe Life Field, last playing at the venue in 2023.
Ticket Information
Home Plate Reserved tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 20 at 10 a.m. CT at GlobeLifeField.com. This premium offering, which provides access to all three days of the tournament, includes: reserved seats behind home plate, reserved parking, early entry, discounts on concessions, souvenir hat and cup (with unlimited soft drink refills) and access to a private bar and restrooms.
Home Plate Reserved tickets are $156 for adults and $84 for youth (13 and under), before taxes and fees. Group ticket rates are available for groups of 10 or more by contacting REV Entertainment at 817-533-1833. General admission tickets will go on sale at a later date.
Bonus Game
Arkansas will also face Tarleton State at Globe Life Field on Monday, February 16 at 2 p.m. Fans who purchase Home Plate Reserved tickets will have the option to add a $10 general admission ticket for this bonus game.
