Erie Gives is an inspiring community-spirited event like no other! Thousands of donors from across the country – and globe – give to hundreds of local nonprofits during Erie Gives, a 24-hour day of giving!
The 15th annual Erie Gives Day is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. On this day only, the Erie Community Foundation and its sponsors will enhance donors' gifts by providing a prorated match to each gift made to Shriners Children’s Erie donated through the Erie Gives website.
How to Support Shriners Children's Erie on Erie Gives Day
Online:
- Donate online.
- Gifts will be accepted on August 12, 2025, beginning at midnight!
- Online donations can be made via credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa). New This Year – all fees (transaction, platform and processing) are completely covered! This means that 100% of your donation goes directly to Shriners Children’s Erie!
- Minimum donation = $25.
By Phone:
- Call The Erie Community Foundation at 814-454-0843.
- Their friendly staff will answer our phone lines from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on August 12, 2025.
- Donations can be made by phone using your credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa).
- Minimum donation = $25.
In Person:
- Please bring your check and the completed Check Donation Form to The Erie Community Foundation at 459 West 6th Street, by Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
- The Community Foundation will start accepting checks on June 17, 2025.
By Mail:
- You can also mail your check to the Erie Community Foundation at 459 West 6th Street, but they will need to receive your gift by Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Gift of Stock or IRA via Mail:
- Talk to your professional advisor or banker who can help you.
- The deadline to initiate the transfer of stock or IRA distribution with your custodian directed to The Erie Community Foundation is Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
- Complete the Check Donation Form indicating the organization(s) and donation amount(s).
- Mail check and completed form to The Erie Community Foundation, 459 West 6th Street, Erie, PA 16507.
- The transfer of stock or distribution from your IRA should match the total amount you indicate on your mail-in form.
