Slide 1: After a 10-week stay in the hospital, Daniel was given a heroes farewell by his friends at Shriners Children’s Greenville.
Slide 2: Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the teen underwent life-changing surgery at the hospital followed by intensive therapy with the rehabilitation staff.
Slide 3: Once partially dependent on a wheelchair – Daniel, who had no access to this level of medical expertise in his home country of El Salvador – is on his way to reaching his goal of walking unaided.
