Spirit of Children provides fun and funding to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Spokane

The Spokane Shriners Hospital received a $96,090 donation from the Spirit of Children Foundation. In the last 10 years Spirit of Children has donated $551,000 to the Spokane Shriners Hospital.

“Our local partnership with Spirit of Children continues to make a big impact in the lives of thousands of children accessing critical care at the Spokane hospital every year. Their record level of success with this recent donation has now garnered them a spot on the Philanthropy Wall in the hospital lobby for exceeding $500,000 in total giving to our location,” said Angelique Heinzen, director of development. “Their dedicated staff and loyal customers truly go above and beyond to support our hospital!”

Spirit of Children raises funds for child life programs in children’s hospitals across the nation. The contributions come mainly from money raised in regional Spirit Halloween stores, online at SpiritHalloween.com and from business partners.
