Los pacientes de Shriners Children's de 5 años en adelante con diferencias en las extremidades o aquellos que esquiar sin equipo adaptativo pueden ir a las pistas y aprender los conceptos básicos del esquí alpino en Afton Alps en Hastings, Minnesota. ¡Bienvenidos esquiadores primerizos! Habrá tiendas de alquiler de esquíes o puede traer su propio equipo. Almuerzo incluido.
Para poder asistir al campamento, los niños deben haber sido atendidos por un médico de Shriners Children's en los últimos 12 meses.

Meet Charlotte – one of our Patient Ambassador co-chairs for the Celebration of the Century in the City of Roses! Charlotte was diagnosed with fibular hemimelia as an infant, and had her right lower leg amputated when she was 1. She has been a patient at Shriners Children’s ever since.
