She is involved in studies that examine responses to biologic medications in children and adolescents with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). She is a leader in a multi-center research project designed to assess and improve the medical management and care of children with vasculitis. Along with her research and clinical work, Dr. Wagner-Weiner is also a national educator, regularly lecturing on pediatric rheumatic diseases.
