He is completing his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico. He was president of the SMOP in 2004.

He is a full member of the Mexican College of Orthopedics, member with voice of the Mexican College of Orthopedics; he is also an active member of CM ABC.

He is currently chief of medical teaching at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico.
