Mara Nydes, M.D., is board certified in both pediatrics and sports medicine. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she earned her medical degree. She completed her pediatrics and communicable diseases residency at the University of Michigan, followed by a sports medicine fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Maine-Dartmouth in Augusta, Maine.
Dr. Nydes has practiced in Spokane since 2023, coming to Shriners Children's Spokane from Kaiser Washington Permanente Medical Group Sports Medicine. She has been active in the Spokane community, providing sports medicine coverage at community events such as Bloomsday. She enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, mountain biking, sailing and hiking.
