Parking
Free patient and family parking is available 24 hours per day in the Shriners Children's Philadelphia parking garage, located adjacent to our hospital.
Driving Directions
As you approach our building on Broad Street, you'll see we're located between Tioga and Venango streets. Watch for the yellow flags flying with our hospital name.
From Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and other points south (including: Walt Whitman and Commodore Barry Bridges)
- Take I-95 North to exit 22 (I-676 West); follow signs for Ben Franklin Bridge, Independence Hall and Vine Street
- Stay in the right lane. You must cross over another lane to Callowhill Street. Take Callowhill Street to Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street.
- Shriners Children's is approximately 3 miles north on the right side of Broad Street.
- The parking garage is midway down the block, between Tioga and Venango Streets. Enter at the yellow flags.
From Southern New Jersey using the Ben Franklin Bridge
- As you enter Philadelphia stay in right lane. At the base of the bridge turn right onto Fifth Street.
- Follow Fifth Street to Callowhill Street. At the first traffic light, turn left. Proceed 9 blocks to N. Broad Street and turn right. The hospital is approximately 3 miles north on the right side of Broad Street.
- The parking garage is midway down the block, between Tioga and Venango Streets. Enter at the yellow flags.
From Northeast Philadelphia (using I-95 or Route 1 – Roosevelt Boulevard)
- Take I-95 South to Exit 22 Ben Franklin Bridge, Independence Hall and Callowhill Street. At the bottom of ramp turn right.
- Stay to your right; this is Callowhill Street.
- Take Callowhill Street to Broad Street and turn right onto Broad Street.
- The hospital is approximately 3 miles north on the right side of Broad Street.
- The parking garage is midway down the block, between Tioga and Venango Streets. Enter at the yellow flags.
From Route 1 South (Roosevelt Boulevard)
- Take Route 1 South (Roosevelt Boulevard); make sure you're in the outside lanes (toward the left) once you've passed Rising Sun Avenue.
- Take the Broad Street Exit. Turn left at Broad Street.
- The hospital is approximately 1 mile south on the left side of Broad Street. However, no left turns are allowed there. Instead, turn right onto Venango Street, just before the hospital. Proceed to the first stop sign and make a left onto 15th Street. At the next stop sign turn left onto Tioga Street. At the traffic light, turn left back onto Broad Street.
- The hospital driveway entrance is on the right mid-way down the block.
- Enter the Shriners Children's Philadelphia parking garage through the entrance noted by the yellow flags.
From New York, Northern New Jersey or other points north, northeast and east (including Betsy Ross Bridge)
- Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 7A, RT. 195 towards West Trenton. Follow 195 to RT. 295, North Princeton, and then follow 295 into Pennsylvania to RT. 95 South.
- Take I-95 South to Exit 17/Ben Franklin Bridge, Independence Hall and Callowhill Street. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
- Stay to the right. This is Callowhill Street.
- Take Callowhill Street to Broad Street and turn right. Shriners Children's is approximately 3 miles north on the right side of Broad Street.
- The parking entrance is midway down the block. Enter the Shriners Children's Philadelphia parking garage through the entrance noted by the yellow flags.
From Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and other points north
- Take I-476 South (Northeast Extension) to I-76 East (Philadelphia, Schuylkill Expressway)
- Follow I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) to Route 1 North Roosevelt Boulevard
- Follow Route 1 North to the Broad Street-Route 611 exit
- At the second traffic light, turn right onto Broad Street (611 South)
- The hospital is approximately 1 mile south on the left side of Broad Street. However, no left turns are allowed there. Instead, turn right onto Venango Street, just before the hospital. Proceed to the first stop sign and make a left onto 15th Street. At the next stop sign, turn left onto Tioga Street. At the traffic light, turn left back onto Broad Street.
- Shriners Hospitals for Children parking is midway down the block. Enter the Shriners Children's Philadelphia parking garage through the entrance noted by the yellow flags.
From Harrisburg and other points west
- Take PA Turnpike East to Exit 326 Valley Forge
- Follow I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) to Route 1 North Roosevelt Boulevard
- Follow Route 1 North to Broad Street-Route 611 exit
- At the second traffic light, turn right onto Broad Street (611 South)
- The hospital is approximately 1 mile south on the left side of Broad Street. However, no left turns are allowed there. Instead, turn right onto Venango Street, just before the hospital. Proceed to the first stop sign and make a left onto 15th Street. At the next stop sign, turn left onto Tioga Street. At the traffic light, turn left back onto Broad Street.

Travel Assistance
Patients and their families staying at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House at Front and Erie Avenues and the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey can take a shuttle to and from the hospital, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Contact our patient resource navigator during business hours at 215-430-4132 for more information.
If you need travel assistance from other locations, contact your local Shriners chapter as they may have additional resources. Members of Shriners International can also assist in arranging overnight stays if you are traveling from a great distance, or if your visit will take longer than a day.
