Lisa McGriff-Metz, D.D.S., aka "Dr. Mc" earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) and then received her DDS from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. McGriff-Metz then moved to New York to complete a two-year specialty program in pediatric dentistry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center where she was also chief resident. She is board certified and has been in private practice since 2004.

Dr. Mc and her family relocated to the greater Houston area in 2008. In addition to owning and operating Primarily Kids Pediatric Dentistry, she is a clinical assistant professor in the pediatric dentistry department at the University of Texas at Houston, School of Dentistry, and on staff at Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital in the medical center.

Currently, she is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Both at work and in her personal life, Dr. McGriff-Metz is energetic, fun and caring. She loves being a mom who also happens to be a dentist! Her excitement is infectious and her enthusiasm contagious.
