    Club Hand

    Club hand (radial dysplasia) occurs when the radius bone in the forearm is missing or malformed. Sometimes referred to as “radial hand,” Shriners Children's treatment begins in infancy and often includes occupational therapy and surgery.

    Radial polydactyly, also called “thumb duplication” or “split thumb”, occurs when a child is born with a second complete or partial thumb on the side of their hand. Extra fingers can be located anywhere on the hand.
