As Cole was riding his bike, he was struck by a vehicle and was thrown over 30 feet. He was airlifted to be treated for his traumatic brain injury (TBI), then referred to Shriners Children's Philadelphia for rehabilitation and speech therapy.

At Shriners Children's Twin Cities, our care extends far beyond the physical walls. We provide complimentary camp opportunities and activities for current patients. At Winter Camp Achieve, patients ages 5 and up with limb differences hit the slopes and learned the basics of downhill skiing.
