Perry Cate Society
We named our Leadership Giving Program after Perry Cate, a remarkable and brave patient whose doctor told her parents that she had three weeks to live after she was born.
Perry Cate was born with a host of physical deformities, including her kidneys and bladder grown together, no rib cage on her left side, severe scoliosis, an unformed left hip, left leg-length discrepancy and missing and fused vertebra.
Thanks to 22 successful surgeries at Shriners Children’s Lexington, Perry Cate has defied the odds. She is now 18 years old and attending college.
Our Perry Cate Society is comprised of donors who make an annual gift of at least $1,000. This special group of donors are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need.
The Society enables us to provide medical care for all children at Shriners Children’s Lexington regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
