Pamela J. Lang, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Lang is dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and adolescents, helping them overcome challenges and pursue active, healthy lives.

Dr. Lang's journey in orthopedics began with her residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Eager to further her specialization, she pursued additional training in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Orthopaedic Institute for Children/UCLA in Los Angeles, California, and completed training in orthopedic sports medicine at Boston Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

After spending seven years at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Lang joined the respected team at Shriners Children’s Twin Cities as medical director. In this role, she is committed to advancing pediatric orthopedic care and rehabilitation, striving to make Shriners Children’s Twin Cities the premier destination for pediatric orthopedic services in the area.

Dr. Lang's clinical expertise spans a wide range of pediatric sports medicine and orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, fractures, hip dysplasia and lower extremity abnormalities. She is deeply invested in research, with particular interests in biomechanics, sports injury prevention, and bone health in children and adolescents.

Beyond her clinical and research endeavors, Dr. Lang is passionate about education and community outreach. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and expertise with fellow healthcare professionals and the broader community, with the aim of improving pediatric orthopedic care and promoting healthy, active lifestyles for children.

In her leisure time, Dr. Lang enjoys spending quality time with her family, and staying active through running and hiking with her dog. She is a lover of all sports, especially cheering on her beloved Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers.

Dr. Lang's vision for Shriners Children’s Twin Cities is one of collaboration, excellence and innovation. She is committed to fostering a culture of compassionate care and pushing the boundaries of orthopedic medicine to ensure that every child receives the best possible treatment and support on their journey to wellness.
