Kristen A. Ciacchini MS, OTR/L, BCP, is a senior occupational therapist in the rehabilitation department at Shriners Children's Erie. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Shriners Children's, she worked with early intervention (birth–3 years old) in the Erie County area. Kristen obtained board certification in pediatrics through the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) in 2021.

Kristen participates in the rehabilitation multidisciplinary (RMD), hand and feeding clinics at Shriners Children's Erie. She also enjoys treating a variety of diagnoses, including upper extremity and shoulder injury, developmental delay, neurological and genetic diagnoses, autism spectrum disorder, and sensory processing difficulties. She has advanced training in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, advanced feeding interventions, Handwriting Without Tears, The ALERT program, upper extremity and shoulder injury, and is certified in administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT). She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Kristen enjoys using a team approach and working closely with other disciplines involved in each child's care. She loves seeing the progress each child makes between therapy sessions and helping each child and family achieve individualized goals.
