Artur Fahradyan, M.D., hails from Armenian descent, where he grew up and earned his medical degree. He then moved to the United States and completed a two-year general surgery residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital in Boston. He continued his training at a highly-regarded plastic and reconstructive residency program at the University of Southern California. Additionally, he completed a one-year fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, focusing on pediatric and craniofacial plastic surgery.

Dr. Fahradyan dedicated three years to clinical research at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. His research was mainly focused on cleft lip and craniofacial anomalies. He co-authored 30+ peer-reviewed articles and 80+ abstracts. He received recognition, including the Junior Investigator Best Clinical Paper Award from the American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association and the 2018 American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons Best Paper Award in the Clinical Category.

Dr. Fahradyan's commitment to research continued during clinical rotations, earning him the Warren Louis Garner, MD Resident Research Award for Outstanding Research and Scholarly Activity in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery upon completing his residency at USC.

He has a special interest in pediatric and craniofacial surgery, addressing a range of conditions such as cleft lip and palate; atypical facial clefts; craniosynostosis; ear deformities and microtia; craniofacial deformities resulting from trauma; burn or removal of benign or malignant lesions; upper and lower jaw deformities; nasal deformities; eyelid conditions; various skin anomalies including congenital melanocytic nevus, vascular malformations; and pediatric breast anomalies.
