Waves features Hawaii Patient Ambassador Hekili, who suffered a traumatic foot injury at a young age, requiring reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation. Thanks to the specialized injury care he received at Shriners Children's, Hekili continues to enjoy his passion for bodyboarding the challenging surf near his home.
