Yashar Javidan , M.D., is a Pediatric Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California. Dr. Javidan specializes in pediatric and adolescent spine surgery, with special expertise in reconstructive spine surgery for complex pediatric spinal deformities.

He currently serves as Associate Professor of Orthopedic surgery at UC Davis Health and Shriners Hospital of Northern California. He is also the Director of the Spine Fellowship program. Dr. Javidan is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Scoliosis Research Society.
Dr. Javidan completed his surgical training at USC-keck department of Orthopaedic surgery & Childers Hospital Los Angeles. He completed his Spine deformity fellowship at UC Davis with internationally recognized mentors in the field of deformity spine. He serves as faculty for AO Spine and is involved in training young spine surgeons and fellows.
Dr. Javidan has treated some of the world’s most complex cases. He is also actively involved in research and training of spine surgeons in the use of advanced surgical techniques.
