Casey Stondell, M.D., D. ABA, is a subspecialty board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist whose practice includes caring for children undergoing complex spine surgery, burn surgery, orthopedic surgery and general surgery. Areas of research interest include regional anesthesia and enhanced recovery after surgery, specifically in spine surgery.
Dr. Stondell also helped create and implement a comprehensive perioperative protocol for patients undergoing spine surgery, leading to improved pain control and fewer days in the hospital. He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, the American Society for Regional Anesthesia, and the California Society of Anesthesiologists.
