The distinguished leadership team at Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico works collaboratively to ensure that children have excellent pediatric, surgical, and rehabilitative care.
Dr. Felice Haces is Medical Director at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico. He graduated as a medical surgeon from La Salle University. He completed his training in Orthopedics at Shriners Children's Mexico and at the Ubarmin Clinic in Pamplona, Spain, as well as at the Kantonsspital Bruderholz and Félix Platterspital Hospitals in Basel, Switzerland.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons; the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America; the American College of Surgeons; the Mexican Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology; the Mexican College of Orthopedics and Traumatology and the ABC Medical Center.
He served as President and is an active member of the Mexican Society of Pediatric Orthopedics, and of the Medical Society of the ABC Medical Center. He is certified by the Council of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Dr. Haces is Professor of Pediatric Orthopedics at the Graduate Division of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and has participated as a visiting professor and speaker in multiple national and international conferences, as well as in the publication of papers.
Dr. Galván is an orthopedic surgeon, Head of the Department of Education, and works in the hip clinic at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico. He graduated as a surgeon from La Salle University, did his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico and specialized in joint replacement at the University of Southern California. He is an Associate Professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
He is former President and Member of the Mexican Society of Pediatric Orthopedics, the Mexican College of Orthopedics and Traumatology, the Mexican Council of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and the American British Cowdray Hospital Association.
Graduated from the National School of Nursing and Midwifery, UNAM. Specialty in Care for Patients in Critical Condition, in the Hospital Español. She was part of the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery for three years in the intensive care service. At the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico she has served as:
- Head of the Department of Surgery for nine years
- Nursing Supervisor for 15 years
- She currently works as the Head of the Nursing Department at the Shriners Hospital for Children Mexico.
