Opt-in information will only be used by the local Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California and not shared with any other entities. A maximum of two messages per month will be shared via SMS. Information shared through this opt-in channel will not be shared or transferred for other uses. We take a variety of physical, technical, administrative, and organizational security measures based on the sensitivity of the information we collect to protect your information against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access. Unfortunately, no online activity can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information against unauthorized use or disclosure, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure. We retain your information for as long as you participate in the Messaging Service. Consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt-out of receiving further commercial text messages via the Messaging Service by responding to any of our text messages with any of the following replies: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. Shriners Hospitals for Children is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  Shriners Hospitals for Children is committed to providing specialized care to children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate, and certain other special health care needs, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. 

You may ask for assistance with your hospital bill at any time during your hospital stay or, throughout the billing process.

The charge description master (CDM) for Shriners Hospitals for Children is made available for your inspection based on 2718(e) of the Public Health Service Act and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Fiscal Year 2019 Inpatient Prospective Payment System Final Rule, 83 Federal Reg. 41144 (Aug. 17, 2018).
