Please join us for a full day of lectures, case discussions and research presentations with Dr. Peter Waters, director of the Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery program at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Waters is the co-author of the acclaimed textbook on Surgery of the Pediatric Hand and Upper Limb and co-editor of the pediatric trauma textbook, Fractures in Children. He served as president of the Pediatric Orthpaedic Society of North America (POSNA) from 2011-2012, and he is the author of over 220 publications and book chapters. Dr. Waters earned his medical degree at Tufts University and completed fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and hand surgery in the Harvard Hand Surgery program. He is internationally known for his expertise in hand and upper extremity surgery and, in particular, care of children with brachial plexus birth palsies.
