Parents of children born with facial abnormalities and other
disfiguring conditions turn to Shriners Hospitals for Children –
Northern California for the gift of hope. It is the hope that
their child can look and feel like other children and live
without the self-consciousness that comes with being different.
The pediatric plastic surgeons at Shriners Hospital provide care
that allows children with abnormal growths and scars to regain
normal body function, prevent health problems and improve their
appearance. Care extends to children with congenital
abnormalities as well as children living with wounds, scars and
disfigurements caused by accidents.
