Victor M. Vargas, M.D., is a Colombian immigrant who was born and raised there. During medical school in Colombia, he also completed rotations in New Orleans and Baltimore. He knew since early in his training that he wanted to work with kids in both critical and emergency settings.
Dr. Vargas worked his social service year in his native town, Cali. He completed his transitional training year in western Pennsylvania, then pediatrics residency in Florida and critical care fellowship in Southern California. He developed a passion for medical education and simulation.
Victor loves spending time with his family, playing board games and trying to learn to cook better.
