Dr. Garcia is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and has an additional certificate of added qualifications in hand surgery. He is also fellowship-trained in hand surgery from Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Through hand surgery, Dr. Garcia was able to pursue many disciplines including orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery and plastic surgery. Dr. Garcia has also given more than 100 presentations on topics ranging from infections and diseases to fractures and instabilities.
Dr. Garcia has contributed to several journals and has published many articles relating to common or specific problems found within the hand and wrist. Dr. Garcia takes pride in returning his patients to normal function and getting them back to the activities they love.
Dr. Garcia enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and playing the guitar.
